Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad has congratulated the Multan Sultans on winning the PSL championship and announced great news for cricket lovers by proclaiming that Pakistan has resolved the issue of airing forthcoming Pak-England series, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Fawad Ch in his tweet on Friday congratulated the Multan Sultans on becoming new champions. He thanked Rizwan, Babar Azam, all Pakistani heroes along with foreign heroes who held this great show of cricket.
Fawad said another great (cricket) show is forthcoming and he wanted to share this news that Pakistan had resolved the issue of airing Pak-England cricket series.
A splendid batting and clinical bowling Thursday led Multan Sultans to Pakistan Super League glory as they won the title by trampling all over Peshawar Zalmi in the final of the sixth edition of Pakistan’s premier Twenty20 league at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Chasing a record target of 207 runs, set by Sultans courtesy to fireworks of Sohaib Maqsood and Rilee Rossouw, Zalmi never seemed in the race for the title as they could make 159-9 as Sultans thrashed Zalmi by 47 runs.

There was a strong public reaction about two weeks ago when the government had announced that the Pakistanis won't be able to watch their side's upcoming limited-overs series against England which begins next month.
Earlier, Fawad Chaudhry shocked country's ardent cricket fans when he announced that all six matches on the upcoming tour of England will not be telecast live in the country because they have decided not to do any business with an Indian company -- Sony Pictures Sports Network (SPSN) which holds the broadcasting rights for the South Asian region.
“Indian companies hold the rights to broadcast matches in South Asia …. and we cannot conduct business with any Indian company,” Fawad Chaudhry had said.
Announcing his government's decision, Chaudhry added that the business with Indian companies will only go ahead after the Government of India revokes the decision taken on August 5, 2019.
