Malik Ehsan Ullah Tiwana, former PTI member National Assembly (MNA) from Khushab, has not only announced quitting his party but also politics, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
In a statement, Tiwana has said that due to bad health he is finding it hard even to meet the people of his constituency. “I condemn the incidents of violence of May 9,” he has said, adding, “I want to inform all my family members and friends that due to present political situation of the country and bad health, I am dissociating myself from politics.”
He has further said it is of no use staying in the PTI when he is not able to do anything for the party.
PTI ticket holder bids adieu to party
On the other hand, denouncing attacks on military installations on May 9, Malik Waqar, a PTI ticket holder from PP-146, Lahore, has also announced his decision to part ways with his party.
“Pakistan Army is our pride since it defends our country,” he has said, adding, “Anti-army rhetoric that was inculcated in people was bound to result in May 9 violence.”
