The marriage house turned into a mourning house when a woman was killed while her son and niece were seriously injured in firing by unknown persons in Arifwala, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to police, the incident of firing took place in Mohalla Muzaffarabad street number-8 when some unknown gunmen entered the house and started firomg indiscriminately.
The victim was identified as 40-year-old Firdous Azam while 15-year-old Aliza and 18-year-old Ali Shan are among the injured.
Injured Ali Shan was shifted to Sahiwal Hospital in critical condition.
The body of the deceased was shifted to the hospital for post-mortem.
City police station started investigation after registering case.
However, the reason for the firing has not been known yet.
