The government has appointed Ghulam Nabi Memon, a Grade-21 officer of Police Serve of Pakistan, as Inspector-General of the Police Sindh on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Ghulam Nabi Memon has replaced Riffat Mukhtar, a senior police officer, who has been asked to report to the Establishment Division.
Ghulam Nabi is serving as Executive Director in State Life Insurance.
In the previous setup, Riffat replaced Memon as Sindh IGP.
The Establishment Division issued the notification of the posting.
