Four die in truck-pickup collision in Thatta

Four people were killed while eight were injured when a truck collided with a pickup they were travelling in near Keenjhar Lake in Thatta on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.  

Police said the accident took place on the Hyderabad Road.

Soon after the incident, the injured were taken to hospital.  

Police informed that those killed and injured belonged to Karachi and had come to the lake for a picnic.  

Police further said that an investigation had begun to ascertain the cause of the incident.

One dies in accident at Mirpur Mathelo

In another accident reported from Sindh, one person died while four were injured after the car of the deceased crashed into a trawler near Data petrol pump on the National Highway in Mirpur Mathelo late Friday night.

Police said the wounded had to be shifted to the Sheikh Zayed Hospital, Rahim Yar Khan due to the critical nature of the injuries they received.

The Force informed that the dead had been identified as Sateesh Kumar.
