Don’t play with people’s lives with gatherings: Imran to opposition

Prime Minister Imran Khan reiterated opposition will not get any NRO no matter how many public rallies they will conduct despite the COVID-19 spread fears, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Imran Khan was talking to media persons after having a meeting with Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar in Lahore.

“Opposition should not conduct rallies in the incumbent situation where COVID-19 is surging once again in the country. The opposition will not get any NRO and they should not put lives of the people in danger,” Prime Minister Imran Khan added.

“We will not close our factories and markets and will have to fight COVID-19 like a nation,” the prime minister maintained.

“Even India’s economy is also in bad condition due to COVID-19. In Pakistan, mosques were not closed in the first COVID-19 wave,” he added.

The Prime Minister said while talking to the media in Lahore, “No one will get NRO… rallies and demonstrations will not yield any results. No matter how many rallies you hold, you will not be able to get NRO from us.”

Responding to a question on governance, Imran Khan said: “Our biggest achievement is a successful foreign policy”.

Imran Khan said the government's projects Bundle Islands in Karachi and River Ravi Urban Project in Lahore will attract overseas Pakistanis. Imran Khan said economically Pakistan is on the right track.

He announced that there will be a crackdown against land grabbers in Lahore and elsewhere in Punjab as Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and his team has kicked off action against the land mafia.

Imran Khan said Pakistan’s image is improving globally as now the United States has also been praising Pakistan instead of asking us to do more.

Israel

Prime Minister Imran Khan clarified there is no pressure from any country to recognize Israel.

The premier clarified when the rumours mills for the past two days spread the news on social media that Pakistan is being pressured to recognize Israel. Hoverer, first Ministry of Foreign Affairs and now Prime Minister Imran Khan clarified.
