Punjab government relieves six police officers

The Punjab government has relieved six police officers among others at the request of the Federal government, reported 24NewsHD TV on Thursday.

Additional Inspector General (IG) Zaeem Iqbal Sheikh has been released from Punjab. Zaeem Iqbal Sheikh has been ordered to report to the Sindh government.

Regional Police Officer (RPO) Multan Syed Khurram Ali has been released from Punjab to report to the Sindh government.

RPO Sahiwal Ahmad Arsalan has been released from Punjab to report to the government of Kyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Dr Inam Waheed has been released from Punjab to report to the Sindh government.

DIG Zubair Dareshk has been released from Punjab and ordered to report to the Sindh government.

DIG Sohail Akhtar Sakhira to inform the government of Sindh.

Meanwhile, Management and Provincial Development Department (MPDD) Secretary Ali Tahir has also been released from Punjab. Finance Secretary Iftikhar Ali Sahoo was released from Punjab to report to KP.

Commissioner Sargodha Farah Masood and Commissioner DG Khan Sara Aslam have also been released from Punjab.
