Dengue mosquitos killed two patients suffering from the fever in Punjab and infected another 204 people across the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Punjab Health Secretary Imran Sikandar Baloch said out of 204 cases, 159 were reported from provincial capital Lahore, 11 from Rawalpindi, seven from Gujranwala and six from Faisalabad.
He said 129 people lost their lives due to dengue fever in the ongoing year.
Health authorities said that 17 people in the federal capital Islamabad took the tally to 45081.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, another 54 cases were reported from the province that scaled up the numbers to 10,223. So far, 10 people have lost their lives due to dengue. Also, 60 patients suffering from dengue fever were successfully recovered across the province.
