The Sindh Education Department on Friday sacked nine schoolteachers in Larkana for continuously remaining absent from duty, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Larkana district education officer issued a notification of their termination.
Four lady teachers were among the sacked employees.
They had also not responded to the show cause notices issued by the education department.
According to the education department sources, the sacked teachers were posted in different schools of Larkana district.
The action against the absent teachers was taken on the instructions of the education minister.
