Pakistan's cricket team is contemplating two changes to their lineup ahead of the second One-Day International (ODI) against Zimbabwe, scheduled for Tuesday.

After suffering a surprising defeat through the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method in the series opener, Pakistan will be under immense pressure to avoid a series loss.

Despite high expectations following their resounding victory over Australia, Pakistan faltered in the first ODI as Zimbabwe pulled off a stunning upset on home soil.

To address the shortcomings, team management is considering introducing all-rounder Tayyab Tahir and spinner Abrar Ahmed in place of pacer Mohammad Hasnain and left-handed batter Haseebullah Khan.

Tayyab Tahir, known for his versatility, is seen as a player who could add depth to the batting lineup while contributing with the ball if required. His inclusion is expected to provide the team with much-needed balance and spark.

Meanwhile, Abrar Ahmed is being considered to complement the bowling attack that performed admirably in the first match. With his ability to trouble batters with his unorthodox deliveries, Abrar could be a game-changer on Zimbabwean pitches.
