The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday announced protests across Punjab on November 26 (Tuesday).
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, PTI Punjab Acting President Hammad Azhar told all ticket holders of the party to take to the streets once again on Tuesday. He said there would be a second round of protests in all big cities of Punjab and then these protesters will march towards Islamabad.
Earlier, the PTI announced nationwide protests on November 24 to push for the release of jailed former prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan. PTI workers and leaders from every part of the country are currently on the way to Islamabad where they say they will stage a sit-in until Khan's release from Adiala Jail.
