Veteran Pakistani actor Babar Ali has appeared in Nadir Ali’s podcast where he shared his critical thoughts on Bollywood’s portrayal of Pakistan in Sunny Deol’s recent film, ‘Gadar 2’.
The actor also spoke up against Bollywood’s cheap antics of producing anti-Pakistan propaganda films.

“You can remake the films, you can revive your career through these iconic remakes, but if you will badmouth Pakistan, I will not respect you.
I am not stopping you from doing good to your country but that doesn’t allow you to tarnish Pakistan.
We have done many films, we never badmouthed any country. This is the difference between us and them. We always give due respect to artists, you came to Pakistan, and we welcomed you wholeheartedly”.

It is pertinent to mention that Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’ contained anti-Pakistan content and was a massive hit in India.

However, the Bollywood superstar’s latest film has hurt the sentiment of many Pakistanis with its cheap propaganda as he has always been warmly received by Pakistanis during his visits across the border.
