Four passengers died while several others were injured when a dumper went out of control, overturned and fell on a Hiace van on Wah Cantt Road near Taxila on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The passenger van was travelling from Rawalpindi to Haripur when it met the accident near Taxila.
A number of passengers were injured when the dumper overturned and fell on the van near barrier number 2 on Wah Cantt Road.
Four rescue emergency vehicles and more than 15 rescue officials participated in the rescue and relief operation.
The rescue officials shifted the injured passengers to a hospital after giving them first medical aid.
