A lady police constable has been gunned down in Lahore’s Harbanspura here on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police, a polce constable opened fire at Saman Bibi near under construction police station building and escaped from the scene.
The forensic teams reach the site to collect the evidences.
Police reveled during initial investigation that another police constable Farooq killed lady constable Saman. According to detail, both reach the site together and held discussion fopr a long time there. Meanwhile, Farooq got angry with her and opened fire at her and killed her and escaped from the scene. Police said for the arrests of murder accused police team has been constituted which will soon arrest him.
Meanwhile, IG Punjab Police has taken notice of the murder incident and sought report from CCPO Lahore. IGP directed police to arrests the culprits with the help of CCTV footage and provide justice to the victim family.
