Passenger train—Allama Iqbal Express on Tuesday narrowly escaped a major accident as a cracker blast near Noshero Feroz damaged the railway track three to four feet.
According to the 24News HD TV Channel, the blast took place on the up track from Karachi to Punjab. Railway traffic on both sides—up and down—has been suspended after the blast.
The Railway Police said as soon as the blast was reported, rescue teams have been reached the spot while Allama Iqbal's train bound for Punjab was stopped near Kot Lalu.
