Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Qaiser greeted his party members and supporters on its Foundation Day, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.
In a message, he said: “On April 25, 1996, Imran Khan founded the PTI with an ideology and since then Imran Khan raised his voice for the rule of law and justice system in the country.
He added: “After the regime change, an attempt was made to wipe out the PTI. Bogus cases were made against Imran Khan. Our women were confined in jails. The cruelty done to the PTI is unprecedented in history.
He continued: “The election symbol was taken away from us. Our voters and supporters were picked up. “We were not allowed to campaign. Despite all odds, people expressed confidence in us in the February 8 election,
“The government’s political persecution revived the PTI. Imran Khan is the only leader in Pakistan. As long as there is Pakistan, there will be Imran Khan and PTI.”
