Babil Khan, son of Irrfan Khan, posted a cryptic message about giving up last night and later removed it, causing worry among his supporters.

Just a few days ahead of his father's fourth death anniversary, Babil took to his Instagram stories and penned:

"Sometimes I feel like giving up and going to baba."

However, soon after uploading it, he deleted it.

A Reddit user posted a screenshot of Babil 's story, which he later deleted. Despite the actor removing the post, observant fans captured it and voiced their worry over the statement he made.

There was a time when his son Babil Khan, who has been walking in his footsteps and entered the glamor industry, dropped posts about him almost every other day.

Just a couple of weeks ago, Babil Khan shared a couple of old pictures featuring Irrfan Khan and Sutapa Sikdar. In the first picture, we could see the late actor and his wife, in the middle of a conversation. In the next picture, we could see Babil holding a camera and looking ready to shoot.  The third picture is quite a blurry one, which showcases Irrfan on a film set. Then comes a picture of Babil’s ID card, which had his childhood picture on it. Sharing the pictures, Babil wrote:

“Im gonna miss you, you know? Standing under my umbrella. I going to miss you too, but I guess It’s time to dance in the rain now.”

Babil once emphasised his desire for his father to see his achievements

In another interview with Film Companion, Babil Khan spoke about his ardent desire for his father, the late Irrfan Khan. The doting son mentioned how he wanted to show his achievements this far to his father. Moreover, Babil shared that he missed his father and his smile, and always wanted to make him proud.

On the work front, Babil Khan was recently seen in a few films and web series, including Qala, Railway Men, and Friday Night Plan, among others.
