Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) dissidents who were kicked out from the party over publicly opposing the party chief’s policies, have now summoned a meeting on Dec 29 in Islamabad of the like-minded leaders, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The four rebels of JUI-F will announce their future course of action in a news conference after the grand meetup of dissident leaders.

It has been reported that all four JUI-F dissidents have paced up their contact campaign with the other leaders of the JUI-F.

The JUI-F on Friday expelled four senior members of the party who had disapproved of the decisions taken under Maulana Fazlur Rehman's leadership as part of the opposition's anti-PTI government movement aka Pakistan Democratic Movement (PMD).

The four ousted members included senior party leader Maulana Mohammad Khan Sherani, Hafiz Hussain Ahmed, Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan and Maulana Shujaul Mulk.

All four JUI-F leaders levelled serious allegations against the party chief rejecting the politics of PDM.

The unanimous decision to expel the four members was taken by a meeting of the JUI-F central consultative council's disciplinary committee chaired by Maulana Abdul Qayyum Halejvi, the party's central spokesperson Mohammad Aslam Ghauri said in a statement.

In a tweet, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz said “Expulsion of senior leaders from JUI-F for criticissing party chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman is the worst form of dictatorship and fascism.”

He said, “This decision shows that the JUI-F is under dictatorship.”

Shibli Faraz said Maulana Fazlur Rehman has shown people how much democratic he really is by not tolerating ‘slight criticism’ by his old companions.

On the other hand, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif said the government is trying to create cracks in JUI-F and PDM.
