Meeting on Balochistan law and order called: interior minister

Balochistan Interior Minister Zia Langau has said a meeting has been called in wake of the recent terror attack in the province.

After having returned from Afghanistan Terrorists have stepped up their strikes, he said, adding that these militants are carrying on attacks in the capital and other parts of the province.

An emergency meeting on law and order has been called, he said adding that stern action will be taken against these terrorists 

"Our intelligence agencies will reach the hideouts of terrorists to purge them out. We will restore peace at all costs," the minister maintained.

A series of bombings rattled Balochistan on Sunday.  Five Pak Army soldiers embraced martyred in an IED blast during a clearance operation in the Kahan area of Balochistan

More than a dozen persons sustained injuries in separate terror strikes across the minerals-riched province of the country.

A grenade attack on Sabzal Road in Quetta injured four people including three women while another grenade was defused.

A hand grenade explosion in front of the Sadar police station in Hub left three persons injured. Another similar attack in the Satellite Town of Quetta injured eight people including 3 police. Grenade blasts in Khuzdar, Quetta, Turbat and Kalat have also been reported.
