“The road users should avoid speeding and keep a proper distance from other vehicles,” he added.

He also said that the motorway police were patrolling the motorway and helping the stranded vehicles.

The motorway police spokesperson also advised road users to contact helpline 130 for information and assistance as well as they can also get information from the Motorway Police Humsafar app.

The spokesperson said that the motorway was partially blocked due to the fog and the traffic was diverted to alternative routes.

He urged the motorists to follow the traffic rules and the instructions of the motorway police to avoid any mishap.
