A 4.2-magnitude earthquake hit Malakand city and surrounding areas, reported 24News HD TV Channel reported on Sunday.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Center Islamabad, the magnitude of the earthquake was 4.2 with a depth of 157 kilometres.
The Seismic Centre said that the epicentre of the earthquake was the Pak-Afghan-Tajikistan border region.
