The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 encounter between Pakistan and Bangladesh, scheduled for Thursday (tomorrow) in Rawalpindi, is facing uncertainty as the latest weather forecast indicates substantial disruptions that could potentially lead to a washout.

Both teams will play their last group-stage fixture, a match that will serve merely as a formality since both teams have failed to qualify for the next round. From Group A, India and New Zealand have advanced to the semi-finals.

As per the weather report for February 27, temperatures in Rawalpindi are expected to peak at 67°F, with a RealFeel of 64°F and a RealFeel Shade temperature of 63°F.

The conditions are expected to be mostly cloudy, with intermittent rain likely to arrive in the afternoon—right around match time.

The forecast indicates an 88% chance of precipitation, with around 0.39 inches of rainfall expected.

The rain is predicted to last for nearly four hours, which could heavily impact play. Winds will be blowing from the east at 9 mph, with gusts reaching up to 27 mph. Meanwhile, the UV index remains low at 1.

Adding to the concerns, cloud cover is expected to reach 99%, while there is also a 21% chance of thunderstorms during the day.

Given the forecast, a rain-affected contest—or even a potential washout—remains a strong possibility, further dampening Pakistan’s disappointing campaign in the tournament.
