The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has decided to increase the ratio of passing marks required for success in matriculation and intermediate level examinations, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
FBISE also issued a notification in this regard on Thursday, upgrading the passing percentage while abolishing the previous one.
Going forward, the passing percentage would be 40% instead of 33%.
According to the notification, Students, who will secure 40 marks out of 100 in any subject, will now be considered successful.
