Infighting in the Sindh chapter of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has become more obvious after the latest tirade of MNA Aamir Liaquat Hussain against the party’s provincial head Haleem Adil Sheikh.
Haleem has been serving as Parliamentary Leader of the PTI in Provincial Assembly of Sindh since August 2018 and President of PTI for Sindh since July 20, 2019.
Talking to party workers in Karachi on Sunday, Aamir said he wouldn’t even talk to people like Haleem or his land grabbers. He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan arranged his meeting with officials of the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) and has the information about cancellation of KESC’s licence. He said he has the full support of the prime minister and he would contest the upcoming local council elections in Sindh.
