China has approved deferring the loan of 2 billion 10 million dollars for Pakistan, reported 24News HD TV Channel on Tuesday.
According to the report, China has deferred the loan to Pakistan for two years and China's Exim Bank officially informed Pakistan by writing a letter.
The sources in the government said the federal government has approved revised terms and conditions for loan rollover and Pakistan will not have to pay additional interest on the Chinese loan.
The sources said that Pakistan will repay the loan amount to China according to the original agreement.
The sources added that all 31 loan agreements have been extended from July 21, 2023, to June 30, 2025.
