Gold prices suddenly fall in Pakistan

Against the continues last week’s trend of increasing prices of yellow metal in Pakistan, the rates of gold suddenly decreased in the local market on Tuesday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the prices of the 24 karats of pure gold in the Pakistani gold market fell by Rs800 per tola to Rs2,24,500 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of the 24 karats of pure gold decreased by Rs685 and was traded at Rs1,92,473 per 10 grams in the Pakistani market.
Rates of the gold of 22 karats that is usually used for making jewellery in Pakistan were also decreased by Rs629 per 10 grams and traded at Rs1,76,433 per 10 grams.
The rates of gold in the international market on Monday also decreased by US$5 per ounce to US$1,960 per ounce.
The price of pure silver of 24 karats did not change and traded at Rs2,750 per tola and Rs2,357.68 per 10 grams in the local market.
It is worth mentioning that gold prices were increased by Rs16,800 per tola in the six working days.
