Police in Lahore have arrested a TikToker who married five women and then extorted money and valuables from them, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Police said that Muhammad Sajid was not only a TikToker but also a property dealer.
Police further said that the case had been registered against him on the complaint of his fifth wife.
In the FIR, the police said, Zaibun Nisa alleged that Sajid had tricked her into marriage.
She said that she was a UK national and had come to Pakistan in 2023 for the treatment of her mother. “After our first meeting, Sajid sent me the marriage proposal. After the marriage, I went to the UK. But before that, my husband got my property registered in his name through ‘fraud’ besides robbing me of jewellery and other expensive items. And after depriving me of all these things, he refused to come to the UK to stay with me,” read the FIR.
She went on to say that she was stunned when during her next visit to Pakistan, she learnt that she was his fifth wife.
Zaibun Nisa accused Sajid of doing the same with his other four wives.
Alleging that the investigation officer in the case was supporting the suspect, the woman appealed to the inspector general of police, Punjab to take its notice.
