Six tourists bound to visit Miranjani Peak, Abbottabad have gone missing mysteriously, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to police sources, six people hailed from Peshawar went to Miranjani Peak for trekking and disappeared.
Miranjani is the highest peak in the Galyat region which is located at an elevation of 9,816 ft, near Nathia Gali in the Abbottabad district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The family members of the missing persons informed the police that they have lost contact with tourists.
Abbottabad police and rescue teams have been dispatched to search for tourists. There is a dangerous jungle before reaching Miranjani Peak.
