Bomb blast targets police vehicle on DI Khan Road in Bannu

A bomb explosion targeted a police vehicle on Dera Ismail Khan Road within the jurisdiction of Thana Sadar Bannu, causing panic in the area.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the police officials said the explosive device was planted by the roadside. The blast was heard from a considerable distance.

The police said that the police officers in the vehicle were unharmed but the front windshield of the vehicle was partially damaged.

Bannu police have cordoned off the area and initiated a search operation against the terrorists involved in the blast.
