The Bollywood heartthrob Karthik Aaryan’s mother, Dr Mala Tiwari revealed in the latest episode of the great Indian Kapil Show that she cried when Aaryan signed his first debut film ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama back in 2011 as she wanted him to become an engineer.
In a recent interview at the Kapil show, Kartik pointed out that his mother wanted him to be an engineer and was against his dream of becoming an actor.
His mother, Mala Tiwari further added ‘Main chahti thi doctor engineer bane. 8 10 saal mein thok peet ke engineering ki degree toh le le (I wanted him to become a doctor or engineer and put efforts for years for him to at least get a degree).’
Kartik Aryan added when he moved to Mumbai for his engineering degree from D. Y. Patil, he began to secretly audition for casting in Mumbai and kept it a secret from his family until he finally banged his first movie ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ after which he finally called his parents while sobbing and said: ‘mummy mujhe picture mil gai (mummy I got my first film)’
His mother also mentioned during the interview the fact that the principal of his college wanted Aryan to finish his engineering degree and during the shoot of ‘Aakash Vaani’ his mother helped him out with the preparation for his upcoming engineering exam.
