Faisalabad man booked for throwing ink on PM Imran’s photo

Police in Tandlianwala, near Faisalabad on Saturday booked a man for removing the banner of ruling Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) with the picture of Prime Minister Imran Khan on it and then throwing ink on it, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

City police station registered a case against a man named Suleman on the complaint of Ibrar Hussain, who said that not only the former showed disrespect towards the prime minister’s photo but when he asked him not to do so, he also threatened him with dire consequences.       

He, in his complaint, opined that people of the area were simply outraged at the incident.
