Grand Mosque Museum tells history of Zamzam

A museum has been established for pilgrims during the holy month of Ramazan in Masjid al-Haram, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.   

In the new extension of Masjid al-Haram, the administration of the Grand Mosque is providing information about the history of the well of Zamzam water and the cover of the Kaaba beside Baitullah Sharif. 

The museum has apprised the pilgrims about the ancient history of Kabbah with detailed records of its past and present.

Many rare artifacts showcase the culture and heritage of the city through fascinating collections and displays. 

Information is also being provided in the museum regarding the history of Masjid Al-Haram and Makkah artifacts dating back more than 1,400 years. Hundreds of people come to the museum daily for Islamic information.

The museum also houses in its corridors the art and history of the Kaaba and the Grand Mosque.
