Another husband and wife were crushed to death in Karachi’s Karsaaz Area near PAF gate on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
According to police, the couple was identified as Aqsa and Ayaz who were residents of Allahwala Town and were returning from work. The deceased woman was a teacher in a school in North Karachi. The deceased Ayaz worked in a factory.
The bodies of the victims have been shifted to Jinnah Hospital for legal action. The driver responsible for the car accident, Aleeq, has been arrested, police said. The accident occurred due to the speeding of the car driver. The accused was heading towards Defence, police said. The accused driver was saved from angry citizens and transferred to the police station, police officials said.
Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan has taken notice of the traffic accident and has directed police officials to control traffic accidents. He also advised commuters to bey traffic rules.
Home Minister Sindh said public cooperation is essential to control traffic accidents. He said overspending is dangerous therefore public must avoid it.
