Amidst the fear of spread of monkey pox among the Punjab police, the National Institute of Health Thursday issued a letter, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
IG office has a written a letter to ensure the officers in all the districts should take protective measures to avoid contacting the Monkey Pox.
The letter was written to all RPOs and DIGs including CCPO Lahore.
According to letter, all the police officers should follow the directions issued by the Health Department related to the preventive measures.
The letter stated in case of contacting the virus, one should avoid to meet anybody and should cover the wounds.
As per letter, if any of the person is affected with the virus, then the healthy person must avoid touching the objects that are in use of the patient.
