Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Friday declared that his coalition government has successfully buried the conspiracy of former premier Imran Khan which was being handled from abroad.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif addressed the groundbreaking of the Karachi Water Supply Scheme K-IV at the Sindh Governor’s House.
Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Governor Kamran Tessori also attended the ceremony.
During the ceremony, Bilawal Bhutto assured Shehbaz Sharif to solve the problems together on which the PM expressed his gratitude to him for his assurance.
Addressing the ceremony PM Shehbaz Sharif said the coalition government buried the conspiracy and the fabric of this conspiracy was found outside the country.
The PM said the one [Imran Khan] who shouted slogans of dacoit and thieves day and night against them was now caught in a corruption case himself.
And, when a corruption case was made against him, he gave instructions to set fire to the different parts of the country, the PM added.
PM Shehbaz also said that the Chief Minister of Sindh told him about how the K-IV project was shelved in the last regime of Imran Khan.
He said the K-IV scheme of water supply needs to be completed immediately.
Earlier, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori called on the PM and briefed him about the ongoing development projects in Karachi and other areas of Sindh.
The governor thanked Shehbaz Sharif for taking a special interest in the development projects of Karachi and Sindh.
