Two more key stalwarts of Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf, Abrar-ul-Haq, and Saif Ullah Niazi while expressing regret over the riots on May 9 have announced to quit their party.
Famous singer and songwriter Abrar-ul-Haq while addressing a press conference here on Friday said: “He does not believe in the PTI’s politics of violence.”
He further said that he never expected to see a day when he would be quitting PTI. “We never thought we would part ways with the party,” he said with tears in his eyes.
He lauded the sacrifices of martyrs for the country, noting that he was providing education to martyrs’ children in his institutes. He vowed that he would continue working for Sahara Foundation.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, PTI leader Senator Saifullah Niazi announced to quit the party, condemning the May 9 violence wherein military installations including Corps Commander House Lahore came under attack.
He said that he didn’t see any purpose in staying with the party.
