At least 13 people were killed and 7 others got injured during a collision between a passenger van and a truck on MM Road near Muhammad Wala village in Kot Addu district on Saturday night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police, passengers, who belonged to the Qureshi family, were travelling to Bhakkar to meet their relatives from Multan. The rescue teams shifted the injured and dead bodies to the nearby THQ hospital in Kot Sarwar Shaheed.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi has taken notice of the sad incident and sought a report from the DPO. Mohsin Naqvi offered condolences with the victim families and directed the health and rescue officials to provide maximum help to the injured.
