In Balochistan, a baby girl was diagnosed with the polio virus in Qilla Abdullah, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The latest polio case takes the total number of such cases in Pakistan to three this year.

The baby was paralyzed by wild poliovirus last month.

According to the Ministry of National Health Services Regulations and Coordination, the virus test is continued at the National Institute of Health.

Along with Afghanistan and Nigeria, Pakistan is one of the only three countries where complete polio eradication has not yet been achieved.

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), polio has been wiped out worldwide.
