Deputy Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner of district Mandi Bahauddin have been arrested on the Consumer Court orders on the charges of contempt of court on Friday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, both the high official of the state appeared before the judge of the consumer court against the charges of contempt of court on them.
During the Friday hearing, the charges were proved against the commissioners and the court sentenced to three months imprisonment.
Obeying the court orders, the local police immediately arrested the officers from inside the courtroom and handcuffed them. Later they were sent to Gujrat Jail.
