In a significant step towards prioritizing road safety, Dr. Mansoor Ahmed Baloch, Deputy Commissioner of Rajanpur, has introduced and enforced helmet regulations for various officials and citizens within the district, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to an official notification issued on Saturday, individuals working in the offices of the Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioners, and Tehsildars, along with residents using motorcycles for daily commuting, have been instructed to wear helmets.

DC Dr. Mansoor Baloch emphasized that any government official or civilian found without a helmet while riding a motorcycle will face restrictions, prohibiting them from entering offices or conducting official business.

This measure is aimed at instilling a culture of responsible riding and ensuring the safety of individuals on the roads.

Effective from November 26, the stringent adherence to wearing helmets while riding motorcycles is not merely encouraged but has become a mandatory requirement, as outlined in the official directive.

The move reflects the government's steadfast commitment to reducing road accidents and promoting safety measures among the public.

Through the formal notification, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Mansoor Ahmed Baloch underscores the crucial role of helmet usage in preventing head injuries and fatalities in case of accidents.
