Airport Security Forces (ASF) has recovered 2.4 kg of ice heroin from a female passenger bound for Sharjah, at Faisalabad International Airport, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to ASF officials, passenger Naheed Akhtar had skilfully hidden the ice heroin in the lower parts of his bag.
ASF's professional staff thwarted smuggling attempts by recovering narcotics while searching the goods.
After initial investigation, the accused was handed over to Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) authorities for further legal action along with recovered drugs.
