The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) staff set an example of honesty by returning US 9,200 to a passenger, who left his bag in the plane, reported 24NewsHD TV on Sunday.
The passenger traveled from Islamabad to Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport on PIA flight PK-369.
The dollars, found by the PIA staff, are worth more than Rs1.5 million. The passenger forgot his bag full of valuables on the plane. Upon remembering, the passenger immediately informed the PIA officials about forgetting the bag.
The staff searched and returned the passenger's bag which comprised of American currency, passport, and other commodities.
PIA CEO Air Marshal Arshad Malik lauds PIA staff for setting an example of honesty.
The passenger showed his delight in getting his luggage back and expressed his thanks to PIA by saying “the PIA staff and management provided excellent service.”
