Renowned singer and actor Ali Zafar has questioned the state of mind of a nation and raised a question about the morals and values the society is following.
In his Instagram story, Ali Zafar pointed out the issue of making up opinion about others while hating it the most, "We don't want others to judge us but we want to judge others all the time.”
The singer added that people interfere in others people affairs while don’t want the same for themselves, “we hate it when someone pokes his/her nose into our personal or private matters but we can't live without doing the same.”
Ali Zafar further wrote that “We seek pleasure in someone's pain. We seek unnecessary attention all the time.”
“We crave validation. We like to scream and shout to be heard. Bite and slander to be noticed.” He added.
On this issue he showed his disappointment and ended his note with a question from the general public that, “Are we sick?”
Netizens were quick to take notice of Zafar's sobering message and important queries about the values and ethics of both the current and future generations.
Many others agreed with Zafar when he said that now is the time to make changes before disaster comes knocking.
