Ishaq Dar leaves London for Pakistan

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) key leader Ishaq Dar has left London for Pakistan, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Monday.  

Former finance minister Ishaq Dar is accompanying Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his son Ali Dar.  

After two days-long consultation meetings of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leadership in London, it has finally decided that Ishaq Dar will return to his homeland along with Prime Minister Shehbaz on his plane. During the meeting, Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif nominated Senator Ishaq Dar as the Finance Minister.

It is expected that the nominated finance minister Ishaq Dar will reach home tonight and will take oath as Senator on Tuesday.

Later, he will also take an oath of the post of Finance Minister on the same day replacing the sitting Finance Minister Miftah Ismail.

The sources said that PML-N supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif has advised Ishaq Dar in the consultancy meetings that if he has to go to Pakistan then he should go with PM Shehbaz. He was living in self-imposed exile in London for the past 5 years. From day one, Ishaq Dar was of the opinion that the cases against him were political

Ishaq Dar has been given the task of reducing inflation in Pakistan and keeping the dollar under control. He has been tasked to put the national economy on the right path.
