Former Finance Minister and PML-N key leader has reiterated Pakistan will develop again under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif provided the people are willing to give it a chance, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a statement issued on Monday, Ishaq Dar disclosed that consultations regarding Nawaz Sharif's return to Pakistan had been successfully concluded in London. He further confirmed his own imminent return to Pakistan, scheduled for Wednesday. Ishaq Dar said that the narrative of the PML-N is very clear.
He recalled a challenging period in Pakistan's financial history, noting that the risk of default had reached 100% before the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) took the reins of government. He attributed this risk to internal and external pressures aimed at destabilizing Pakistan, asserting that the PML-N's mission was to safeguard the nation's integrity.
Senator Ishaq Dar also stated that the PML-N aspired to elevate Pakistan to the status of the 25th largest economy in the world.
