In just two days, 15 people, including women, children, and the chief of the Magsi-Mohammadani tribe, were abducted from various locations in Shikarpur, Sindh, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Thursday.

According to the channel report, the spate of kidnappings has triggered fear and anger among the families of the abductees, with the local police claiming unawareness of the incidents.

The channel reported that among those kidnapped was Sardar Khair Muhammad Magsi of the Muhammadani clan, a sub-group of the Magsi tribe, who was abducted while travelling to Kashmore for a meeting.

Sardar Khair Magsi was reportedly kidnapped by the Kacha dacoits from the Naperkot area. His family said the kidnappers have contacted them, demanding a ransom of Rs 15 million for his release.

In a separate incident, two young men, Irfan Bugti and Khairuddin Bugti, from Dera Murad Jamali, Balochistan, were reportedly abducted while en route to Larkana.

The victims' families reported that the two went missing near Shikarpur, with their last known location traced to the area. Despite the families informing the police, the authorities have denied any knowledge of the abductions.

While police officials have acknowledged receiving reports of missing persons, they claim to be investigating the matter without confirming any abductions.
