Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan Wednesday visited the Chinese Consulate in Karachi and assured to punish of the culprits involved in the Karachi blast.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan reached Karachi on the special instructions of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
The Interior Minister conveyed his condolences to Chinese Consul General Li Bejian on the death of Chinese nationals in the Karachi bombing.
Rana Sanaullah also conveyed a special message of condolence from the Prime Minister to the Chinese Consul General. He also wrote his comments about the Karachi incident in the visitors' book.
He told the consul general that an investigation into the incident has been launched and the culprits will be traced soon as the PM is personally monitoring the investigation.
Interior Minister Sanaullah said the Interior Ministry, security agencies and the Sindh government are jointly investigating the incident.
Sanaullah said China is a reliable friend of Pakistan and both will thwart any attempt and conspiracy to sour their relations.
