The Privatisation Commission has compiled a report listing a number of flaws and faults in the PIA’s Roosevelt Hotel in New York, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Quoting sources, the TV channel reported that the labour union in the Roosevelt Hotel has taken strong roots. No proper branding of the hotel was conducted, the sources added.

The hotel is in a dire need of renovations as the building of the Roosevelt Hotel in New York is very fragile, the sources said and added no concession is being offered to the costumers of the hotel.

According to the sources, the tough policies of the American government and the economic crisis in the US are also running the business of the Roosevelt Hotel.

The Roosevelt Hotel is a historic luxury hotel, located at 45 East 45th Street in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. The hotel, named in honour of late US President Theodore Roosevelt, opened on September 22, 1924. The hotel was closed for an extensive $65 million renovation from 1995 to 1997.

There are a total of 1,025 rooms in the hotel, including 52 suites. The 3,900-square-foot Presidential Suite has four bedrooms, a kitchen, formal living and dining areas, and a wrap-around terrace. The rooms are traditionally decorated, with mahogany wood furniture and light-coloured bed coverings.
