Two persons were murdered in separate incidents of violence and robbery in different areas of Punjab, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
In Hafizabad, a man clubbed his uncle to death for driving a tractor into his crops.
The incident took place in Madhrianwala. The accused identified as Mudassir managed to escape.
The police took the body into custody and shifted it to a mortuary.
“The accused will be arrested soon,” police said.
In Sialkot, a man was shot dead for resisting a robbery attempt.
The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Saddr police station.
The deceased was identified as 28-year-old Sabir.
Rescue 1122 shifted the body to Sialkot Teaching Hospital for post-mortem.
On the other hand, a man was injured after the rickshaw he was travelling in was hit by a car in Karachi.
The incident took place in Hassan Square. “The car driver was drunk. The flag of a political party was fastened to the roof of his car,” police said.
Citizens and a traffic policeman caught the car driver and handed him over to the police.
