Joharabad SHO, others booked for killing three over Peerabad property issue

Local police registered a case of the murder of three persons over a property issue in Peerabad, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.

The case is registered under sections 302, 324, 452, 457 and 34 while a section of the RW155 Police Act was also added.

Three people, Shabbir, Abdullah and Saleh alias Yar Gul, were killed in firefight between the two parties.  

Backed by policemen including Joharabad SHO, a group of people reached the house to get it vacated when trade of fire left three  persons dead.

Police said they were recording the statements of the eyewitnesses and the wounded to ascertain the facts.

According to lawmen, they are digging into the Joharabad police’s involvement in the incident.

The crime took place a few days after Karachi Police Chief Ghulam Nabi Memon suspended 73 personnel and asked to report to SIU.

According to the order, three sub-inspectors, nine ASIs, 15 head constables and 46 constables of 43 police stations of the port city were asked to report to the Special Investigation Unit.
